This is the season meant for joy but often becomes the season of things to do, stress, anxiety, and exhaustion. This season our hope is that you find a way to focus on what is most important to you and your loved ones. Time together can be one of the most important things of the season.

A season for making cherished things: family feasts and jars of treats, jokes and laughter – and amends, sometimes – grand lawn displays and handmade crafts, and most importantly, memories to last a lifetime. Creating space for happy memories and feelings to grow might be one of the greatest gifts you can give.

It’s a busy season for many, with lights to hang, gifts to give and cards to write, but it can be especially joyful labor as we embrace the blessings of our lives and our loved ones through traditions both old and new.

No matter how you celebrate this year, with traditions old or new, with loved ones close or connected from afar, I hope you and yours find great warmth and joy this Christmas season with calm and classic carols; among the gift-wrap-ripping exuberance of children; or even crossing long distances over video chat, that your Christmas season is filled with peace and goodness.
