Don Hershberger named a Best-In-State Wealth Advisor by Forbes

Don Hershberger

I have good news to share with you! For the fourth consecutive year, I have been named to the Forbes list of Best-In-State Wealth Advisors, a distinction that wouldn’t have been possible without the hard work and dedication of the whole Paramount Wealth team.

The Forbes list recognizes top financial advisors across the United States. This year’s Best-In-State Wealth Advisors list spotlights over 6,000 top-performing advisors across the country who were nominated by their firms – and then researched, interviewed and assigned a ranking within their respective states. The Forbes ranking of Best-In-State Wealth Advisors, developed by SHOOK Research, is based on an algorithm of qualitative criteria, mostly gained through telephone and in-person due diligence interviews, and quantitative data.

All of us here at Paramount Wealth recognize that without your continued trust and support, milestones like this wouldn’t be possible. It serves to reinforce my belief that putting you first is still the best way to do business.

Client Spotlight

Randy Coleman and Special Olympics

Randy Coleman has been volunteering with the Special Olympics since 2009 and initially got involved because his daughter, Stephanie, wanted to play soccer. Randy has worn many different hats over the last 13+ years, and is now the Jackson County Area Director, a position for which he volunteers.

The Special Olympics provides year-round sports training and athletic competition for children and adults with intellectual disabilities. Through the Special Olympics athletes gain confidence as they

discover new strengths and abilities, skills and successes, both on and off the field. Being involved in sports can instill confidence, improve health, and bring joy to athletes and their families. In the Jackson area there are over 150 athletes training with the Special Olympics year- round. They train and compete in the following sports: swimming, bowling, bocce ball, track, horseshoes, kayaking, soccer, snow shoeing, cross country, and snowboarding. Thanks to the generosity of donors, athletes are able to train and compete at no cost.

In order to raise funds, the local Jackson Area Special Olympics is hosting its 38th Annual Golf Scramble on Saturday, May 14, at Hankerd Hills Golf Course. All of the proceeds will go towards keeping the cost free for local Jackson area athletes. For an entry fee of $85, the event includes 18 holes of golf, 2 carts per foursome, 100% pay out on skins, hot dogs on the turn, dinner, prizes, and awards. The deadline to register is May 10.

If you don’t play golf but still want to contribute, you can sponsor a hole, donate, or provide goods or services for the raffle.

Here is the link for more information, registration, and hole sponsorship opportunities. If you would like to donate something to the raffle or have any questions, contact Randy Coleman at 517-740-3887.

The Forbes ranking of Best-In-State Wealth Advisors, developed by SHOOK Research, is based on an algorithm of qualitative criteria, mostly gained through telephone and in-person due diligence interviews, and quantitative data. Those advisors that are considered have a minimum of seven years of experience, and the algorithm weights factors like revenue trends, assets under management, compliance records, industry experience and those that encompass best practices in their practices and approach to working with clients. Portfolio performance is not a criteria due to varying client objectives and lack of audited data. Out of approximately 34,925 nominations, more than 6,550 advisors received the award. This ranking is not indicative of an advisor's future performance, is not an endorsement, and may not be representative of individual clients' experience. Neither Raymond James nor any of its Financial Advisors or RIA firms pay a fee in exchange for this award/rating. Raymond James is not affiliated with Forbes or Shook Research, LLC.
